Tour Operator Training Course
Most tour operators will send you on a week-long training course either in the UK or abroad.

You will learn about the company and the product you are helping to deliver to the guests.

Other delights in store for you include a large dose of role-playing and producing an evening of entertainment for your peers.

Expect to work hard as a lot of information will be covered in a short space of time.

These courses can be good fun and you'll get to meet people you'll be working with in resort.

However, beware, 'big brother' will be watching you...

Courses To Take Before You Go
Ski/Board skills Warm up your skiing/boarding talents with a quick refresher at your local dry ski slope.

Cookery courses Some tour operators run their own cookery courses, which tend to be a cheaper option.

Language skills brush up your lingo to avoid communication problems with the natives.

Survival Tips for Training
Do - Look smart and tidy.
Turn up on time each morning.

Don't - Try and impress the trainers with your drinking skills
Be obscene, obnoxious or sick.
