USE OF POLLS, SURVEYS & MESSAGE-BOARDS
These pages are for you to have your say. We do however, ask that you bear in mind the following guidelines or we may need to remove your posting:

Please stick to the topic. If you have a burning issue, email us at editor@ifyoutravel.com and we will probably agree and set up a poll or chat page. Similarly, email us if you want us to create a special page for you to converse with a group of regular users.

Please keep it clean. Informative is good, funny is good, raunchy is good as long as it's relevant. Dirty is not good, rude is not good.

Please respect other users. Rule of thumb, if you wouldn't say it to their face, don't write it anonymously. It's about being open, honest, caring etc,
etc. Or at least not downright abusive.

Please don't imitate other users. It's not big, it's not clever. We've kept things simple with no signup process, please don't exploit it.

Please don't libel anyone. We hate lawyers, let's all stay legal.

Please don't infringe anyone's copyright, for instance by cutting and pasting anything you didn't write yourself (see above re lawyers). We won't
take any responsibility if you ignore this, you will be responsible in law.

Please respect the difference between not agreeing with someone's point of view and not believing a question should be posed. Polls and postings do not
represent IfYouTravel's views; we're usually too busy to have any views ourselves, that's what you are for.

Ifyoutravel reserves the right to remove postings which it considers violates these guidelines. If your comment has disappeared, it will generally be because it crossed some sort of decency line, or because it was simply off topic. If you wish to enquire about a posting which has been removed, please contact us at editor@ifyoutravel.com, as long as you realise that we have the final say.
